Getting back on track

Ugh, so it's been several months since I tried losing weight (I got down to 170 in Feb/March!) but then, I gained the 10 pounds back and was teetering on edge at the 185 lb mark.

I could feel the fat in my arms, which I've never had before.

SO - I have started my diet plan again and working out and am down to 180 lbs.

Using myfitnesspal.com to help me track my calorie intake and weight loss. So far, so good!
Just need to keep working out properly and manage my food properly. It's hard with two kids, but I'm hoping to stick to it this time around. I want to be back to my 135 lbs mark that I was when I was in University. Even 145-150 sounds more pleasant right about now, my wedding and my first pre-pregnancy weight. So, hoping to get down to the 150 mark first.

... even 160, my highschool weight, sounds nice right about now.

Anyways, as long as I'm in shape. :)

Day 3

It's day 4 of workout with Fire 30/Stretch 10 but also Day 3 of the diet plan.

So here's what I've done so far:

Breakfast
1 cup bran flakes with raisins cereal with half a banana and 1/4 apple.

Snack 2 celery stalks, 1 red bell pepper with 1 tsp mayonnaise

Lunch
Chicken breast pieces
1 whole wheat roti
1/2 tomato, diced
1/4 avocado sliced
3 lettuce leaves
1 tbsp italian dressing (vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper)

Dinner - at parents home.
Salad consisting of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and green peas with a tsp of ranch dressing.
1 roti, with beef and channa lentil curry and 1/4 cup eggplant bhurtha

Green tea, with 1 chocolate chip cookie

Days 1 and 2

So my sisters wedding is coming up (in 18 days!!!) and I want to lose as much weight as I can by then! I should have started my workout and diet regime earlier when I had found out (like one month back) but I've just been lazy. And so, here I am pushing myself a little further and faster to get as much down as I can so I can at least look somewhat semi-decent for her wedding.

We'll be having another wedding reception in the New Year 2013 maybe come summer time so I should be able to be down even more by then but for now - short term goal!

I started on TurboFire on Sunday with Day 1 of workout, and Monday following the 5 day Inferno diet plan alongside it (because I thought I would do that instead but figured I can at least do half and half that way and maybe still get some results). I can't do 1 hour worth of workout - not with two kids who need constant attention. My eldest is 3 1/2 years, youngest is 6 months old.

So I'm also going to log in what I've been eating and that might also help out considerably so I know how my schedule of eating was like.

I should also add that my weight right now is around the 178 pound mark.

Day 1

Breakfast I had 1 egg scrambled, microwaved on two slices of bread with half an avocado and lettuce, alongside a cup of green tea.

Snack I had half a banana.

Lunch I had a lettuce salad with tuna, olives, red onions chopped with a drizzle of olive oil, sea salt and black pepper.

Snack 2 was 1 orange and 10 raw almonds.

Dinner was 1/2 cup rice with zucchini and lamb curry (drained the 'gravy') with some chopped salad like tomatoes, lettuce and celery.

Drank plenty of water and had 3 cups green tea total.

Day 2

Breakfast was 2/3 cup Bran Flakes and Raisin cereal with half a banana and milk.

Snack was an apple with 1 tbsp peanut butter

Lunch was a medium baked potato in the microwave with 1 tbsp lowfat sour cream, 1 celery stick, slice of cheese and 1 hardboiled egg.

Dinner was 2 4 oz pieces of Salmon steak with soy sauce, black pepper and red pepper flakes with drizzle of olive oil, baked in the oven. Had 1/2 cup rice alongside it and a lettuce, red onion, olive and tomato salad with black pepper, sea salt and 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar.

Snack 2, or dessert, was a cup milk, ice, half a banana and 1/2 cup blueberries shake. Mmmmm~ so good.

I had a tiny piece of caramel chocolate my husband gave me. :)
